Skyview Teams

Team Programs offer children the opportunity to pursue gymnastics to a more advanced level, to compete in USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic programs, and to perform on National and International stages. The challenges and rewards of making a serious commitment to the sort are absolutely incomparable. Gymnastics is a difficult and beautiful sport, with lessons to teach about teamwork, responsibility, perseverance, and the power of a positive attitude. Gymnasts are among the strongest and healthiest of all young athletes - physically and mentally. It is our goal to give every athlete the opportunity to excel, and to do so in a positive, nurturing atmosphere.

LeeAnn Lenhart, Head Coach

Acrobatic Gymnastics is a spectacular sport which combines the power and athletic prowess of Tumbling and Artistic Gymnastics with the grace, artistry and presentation of dance. Athletes compete in pairs, trios and fours, performing in two events: the Balance Exercise which demonstrates, strength and flexibility, and the Dynamic Exercise which involves daring throws, pitches and catches punctuated with high-flying tumbling.

The Skyview Acro Team has counted numerous State, Regional and National Champions among its members, and currently claims 6 National Team Members in the USA Gymnastics Age Group Development Program.

Artistic Gymnastics includes the events familiar to most people from watching the Olympics on television.

In Women's (Girls') Gymnastics, athletes compete on the floor, balance beam, uneven bars, and vault.  At Skyview, we participate in the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic program, levels 4 through 7.

Men (Boys) compete on floor exercise, parallel bars, high bar, pommel horse, rings and and vault. The Boys Team is in it's second year at Skyview, and we look forward to and excititng season.

Straddle on Double Mini
Trampoline & Tumbling
Paul Goodwin, Head Coach

T & T athletes compete on trampoline, synchronized trampoline (two at once!), double mini trampoline, and power tumbling. T & T is a great alternative for young athletes who love to MOVE but don't particularly enjoy the challenges of the Artistic equipment. The Skyview T & T Team is growing by leaps and bounds, and last year the brought home its first Gold Medal from the National Championship
